Our research activity is based on CFD simulations of fire flows under both normal gravity and reduced gravity conditions, with a focus on:

• Modelling of turbulent combustion
• Modelling of heat transfer (radiation and convection)
• Pyrolysis modelling
• Flame spread over surfaces
• Enclosure fire dynamics
• Smoke dynamics

This work aims to better understand the fundamental physical phenomena governing fire development and propagation in complex environments.
